Rust Bullet BlackShell Gloss is a high-gloss, protective topcoat designed to deliver a tough, durable finish for metal surfaces. Formulated with high-quality materials, this UV-resistant coating provides a chip-resistant and scratch-resistant barrier that locks out rust and corrosion for years. It can be easily applied by brush, roller, or spray over both painted and unpainted iron and steel as a stand-alone solution. For maximum protection, use it as a topcoat over Rust Bullet Automotive or Industrial formulas to create an armor-tough barrier against chemicals and abrasion. Ideal for automotive parts, industrial equipment, machinery, and railings, BlackShell Gloss is the essential, long-lasting coating for any project requiring a high-gloss, rust-inhibitive protection.

We want you to experience optimum performance and enjoy the protective benefits of our coatings, so please follow our simple Application Guidelines prior to starting your project to set yourself up for success! Moisture-cured urethane coatings begin curing when exposed to air. Do not open the can until ready to use. All Rust Bullet coatings require a minimum of two coats. The surface to be coated must be completely dry, have a profile for adhesion, and the recoat time of approximately 2-6 hours must be followed. As soon as the previous coat is dry to the touch, you are ready for the next coat.
