All Rust Bullet coatings are to be applied at package consistency (do not thin) and applied in thin even coats. Overly thick coat may cause bubbling and too thin may cause roller marks. No matter which Rust Bullet coating is applied as your base coat, a minimum of two coats must be applied for a successful application. Please see the Rust Bullet Application Guidelines for more information.

Coverage will vary depending on the method of application, porosity of the substrate, film thickness, air circulation, temperature, relative humidity, and other factors. This calculator is based on the approximate coverage on per product per gallon basis. All Rust Bullet coatings require a minimum two (2) coat application.
