Hello,
I have a project you may be interested in hearing about.
I do have numerous POR15 products on my shop shelves.
I am working on my 1971 Pinzgauer 710M it is an air
cooled gasoline powered off-road truck built in Austria
for the Swiss Army. I installed an Espar diesel heater,
from Linden Engineering in Colorado. The tank and bracket
are custom made for the truck. The tank is the normal
US style jerry can, (new) with a custom filler spout
added. The mount for the "new" diesel tank
is fabricated out of new steel, this attaches to the
original Pinzgauer jerry can mount. When I remove my
mount I will send it back to Linden, sort of a Core
charge.
The new tank was sanded to remove most
of the red paint, the new steel was sanded to remove
any contaminants. The original Pinzgauer mount that
was sent with the kit was wire wheeled to remove dirt,
debris, numerous coatings, never did really get down
to bare metal. All this was primed with Rust Bullet,
tomorrow another coating of rust bullet automotive will
be applied. The last coating will be OD green Krylon,
it's cheap but it matches well. The Krylon is not a
quality coating (In my opinion) so the protection of
the equipment installed falls back to the Rust Bullet.
I basically used the Rust Bullet for a primer sealer.
Three totally different applications located in the
same spot. This will be exposed to an Illinois winter,
where they salt the roads at a hint of snow.
I have used your product before (on
rust) and this is my second order. I'll keep you informed
on how your product performs in this capacity this winter.
Regards Michael Swift

"Rust Bullet
offers excellent abrasion resistance and is quite difficult to
scratch (which makes it excellent for suspension components).
If a scratch or chip in the coating does occur, the metal will
rust in the breached area, but rust will not proceed beyond the
breach. Rust Bullet will not lift, blister, or peel away from
its leading edge in any significant degree. Simply reapplying
Rust Bullet over the scratch or chip reseals the coating, proving
easy, low-cost maintenance."

Next to a home, an automobile
probably represents the second largest purchase a person will
ever make. No matter where a person lives, his/her automobile
will be exposed to various environmental conditions, including:
blazing summer heat, humidity, ultra violet rays, snow, rain,
salt, mud, and pollutants. All of these elements will corrode
an automobile unless it is protected.
